I like to think of the sheriff here as representing mainstream or orthodox Christianity and the outlaw representing Maverick Christianity which is scaring the fake, un-Biblical sheriff out of town! Let that sheriff get a new job, more suited to his talents. Sawing wood comes to mind.

. . Would they allow a one-legged midget vertically-challenged person to compete in the 400 metres hurdles event at the Summer Olympics? Would they allow a man who was born blind to teach oil painting at the Royal College of Art? Would Dr. Ron Paul waste his time debating economic theory and the finer points of the U.S. Constitution with a kindergarten student? Obviously, the answer to all three questions is a resounding "NO!" . Why then should an unqualified person who has not first done his research and due diligence be allowed to debate an educated person who deals in facts rather than opinions? .
